Summery of tools made in both Maxscript adn MEL script for HeroEngine as well as my own series of Rigging Tools

(left) HeroBlade Export Panel - Max Script
This panel was originally written by David Whatley. It sets granny values for differetn types of export to the granny format for use by Hero Engine. I took over and maintained the tool as well as adding new features such as batch exporting and various safety mechanisms to ensure proper export.
(right) HeroBlade Export Panel - MEL Script
Ported the main functionality of the Max export panel over to Maya. Does not have safety checks or batch export directory options yet.

CharacterTool - Max Script
This Tool automates the initial exporting, text file writing, and directory structure of a character for Hero Engine.

AssetTools - Max Script/MEL Script
This Tool automates Setting objects for occluders, gridsnaps, rotational snaps, LOD naming and various modes of selection. Maya version not complete at this moment.

Animation Tools - Max Script
This Tool automates allows animators to store multple animation loops on the same timeline. It organizes them by sequence frame ragne utilizing the time tags and file properties. It also manages a Hero Note Track and animation compression per sequenc allows for batch exporting of anaimtions.

FaceGenTools - Max Script
This is a series of tools that helps smooth out ,what is normally a pretty hairy process of integrating facegen, 3dsMax, and Hero Engine. It manages data in the scene specific to this process, writes out all the text files, edits them if needed, and runs several programs in the background to prepare the models for facegen customizer and ultimately Hero Engine..

Rigs n number of bones to be used as manipulated props in the engine utilizing constraints, helpers, and custom UI's.

InsectLeg IK/FK - Max Script
Automates the rigging of a FK insect Leg with a switch to an IK Leg. Simply select a chain of 5 or more bones and hit press Rig.

HJ Character Utilities - Max Script
This tool was created to automate various updates we needed to do to a large number of animation files. It also has a UI for controling the eyes of HJ characters.

TentacleRigger - Max Script
Automaties the rigging of a tentacle and custom UI to control it. Optional slither control, FK control, IK control and spring controls are available. All rigs can be blended together via a weight on each tentacles master control.

An simple to use UI to help manage the visibility and selection of all the various controllers associated with the Muchthresher(Hero's Journey creature).
